Terms of Service

Last updated: May 14, 2026

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Mentor Action Platform (the "Service") operated by us at https://mentoraction.net.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. Accounts registered on behalf of organisations must be created by an authorised representative.

2. Accounts

When you create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@mentoraction.net if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

You may not use another person's account without their permission, create multiple accounts for the same user, or create an account if we have previously suspended or terminated an account of yours.

3. User Roles

3.1 Mentors

Mentor accounts are subject to identity verification and moderation approval before accessing the platform. By registering as a mentor, you represent that the professional information you provide is accurate and current. Mentors agree to engage professionally, responsibly, and in the best interests of their mentees.

3.2 Mentees

Mentees may send mentorship requests to approved mentors. Mentees agree to engage respectfully with their mentors and to attend or cancel sessions in a timely manner.

4. Google Account Integration

Mentors may optionally connect their Google account to enable automatic Google Meet links for scheduled sessions. By connecting your Google account, you authorise Mentor Action Platform to:

  • Create Google Calendar events in your primary calendar.
  • Attach a Google Meet conference link to those events.

This access is limited strictly to creating new calendar events for sessions you schedule on the platform. We do not read, modify, or delete your existing calendar events or any other Google data. You may revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings .

5. Sessions and Bookings

Mentors may schedule sessions for their assigned mentees. Mentees may book available sessions subject to having an active mentorship assignment with the relevant mentor.

Both parties agree to honour confirmed bookings. Cancellations should be made with reasonable notice. Repeated no-shows or abuse of the booking system may result in account suspension.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm another user.
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (e.g., profile information, session notes, messages). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you submit. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.
